You will manage one or more actuarial functions for a product line or corporate process. Evaluate new product ideas, and pricing and maintenance of existing products. Direct the design, pricing, and implementation of insurance products. Lead the preparation and interpretation of actuarial information for presentation to management. Monitor profitability by line of business and/or product and develop supporting reports and/or analyses. Maintain the product line or corporate process to comply with various state and federal regulations. Manage studies that underlie actuarial assumptions and provide assumptions and data to others. May support creation of systems specifications, contracts, commission structures, and other actuarial aspects of product development. Monitor and analyze developments in actuarial techniques, laws and regulations applicable to company operations, and competitive developments in the marketplace. Recommend appropriate reactions to these developments. Provide guidance and advice regarding pricing rates, modeling methodology, or reserving and related matters. Serve as a key resource for completion of one or more major recurring projects during the course of the year. Represent the company on industry and professional committees and/or with regulators. FSA with 5 plus years relevant experience or ASA with 7 plus years relevant experience welcome. The position will be responsible for actuarial research related to the preparation of monthly international projections and analytics. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing internal financial management reports and assisting in the preparation of senior management presentations. This team member will interact and partner with International line of business and other departments including Actuarial, Controllers, regional offices and others to achieve common goals. 5-8 years of Actuarial experience please, with US GAAP Accounting knowledge.  International market knowledge or experience preferred. Prestige consulting firm seeks a Research Actuary. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the Research Actuary function immediately, and will potentially assume a role of leadership.
